Brasil Brokers Participações S.A. (“Company”), a publicly held company with common shares traded at Bovespa’s Novo Mercado segment under the ticker BBRK3, hereby informs the public that on this date it published a Call Notice inviting the Company’s shareholders to the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting (“ESM”) in order to discuss the share split of the Company’s shares, by which each existing share will be represented by 100 shares. The approval of the proposed share split will result in amendment to article 5 of the Company’s Bylaws so as to reflect the new number of shares of its capital stock, which will increase from 1,639,732 (one million, six hundred thirty-nine thousand, seven hundred thirty-two) shares to 163,973,200 (one hundred sixty-three million, nine hundred seventy-three thousand, two hundred) shares. The shares issued as part of the share split will carry the same rights as other outstanding shares of the Company, including the full payment of dividends and/or interest on equity declared by the Company.

The Company also informs that, once the share split is approved at the ESM, the shareholders registered on July 31, 2008 will be entitled to receive the split shares and that, as of August 1, 2008, shares will be traded ex-split (the standard lot of 100 (one hundred) shares will continue) and authorized to be traded on BOVESPA’s odd-lot market.
